Zia Yarn, a new yarn store opening in Albuquerque, is thoughtfully designed to be a welcoming third space for everyone within the Albuquerque craft community. This store aims to foster an environment where individuals of all skill levels, whether they are into knitting or crochet, feel safe, supported, and encouraged to create together. By emphasizing connection, culture, and mutual care, Zia Yarn seeks to eliminate the financial barriers often associated with learning these crafts. Owner Robyn Hill, who learned to crochet for free while sitting on her Grandmother's couch, is establishing a much-needed space in Albuquerque where you can learn to create without financial strain and, most importantly, just BE in community.
